Manchester United left people astounded by their decision to bar several media outlets from their latest press conference. Manager Erik Ten Hag, during the press conference, claimed that the media outlets should consult the club initially before publishing anything for the public. However, the manager’s actions have not gone down well with TV personality Piers Morgan, who slammed the manager, calling his actions laughable.
While critics might have slammed the club for banning journalists, Ten Hag feels nothing is wrong with the club’s decision. During his press conference, the Manchester United boss, before the game against Chelsea, claimed they banned the media outlets for publishing fake news and should have cross-checked with the club first. Tough times for Ten Hag!

TV host Piers Morgan did not shy from a dig at Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag after the club banned multiple media outlets from attending the manager’s press conference. Morgan took to his X account as he slammed Ten Hag for curbing the journalists.
Morgan wrote, “Pathetic. You can pull this stunt when you’re the greatest manager of all time, like Sir Alex, but to do it when you’re as bad as Ten Hag, and the journalists are accurately reporting how bad you are, is laughable.”
Earlier in the day, Morgan had gone all in on the Dutchman admitting he was a ‘clown’, and it was a surprise how the Manchester United board had not removed him from his position. Morgan added that Cristiano was right about everything he said about Ten Hag during his uncensored interview.

Ten Hag comments on Manchester United’s ban on journalists
Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag touched on the ban on journalists during his latest press conference. The Dutchman claimed the reporters should have approached United before publishing anything related to the side.
Ten Hag stated, “They should have come to us first and not go behind our back printing articles. That is not the right thing. We have a good relationship. They come to us beforehand. We have a debate about it.”
