The conundrum that has been going on in European soccer seems to be at its culmination. Kylian Mbappe is finally leaving Paris Saint-Germain after a number of attempts by the club to retain him. With the star himself announcing his departure through a social media post, talks earlier claimed the club was arranging a celebration for his leave-taking. However, the fans are now left disappointed with negative reports on the party.

PSG may have lost one of the best players in recent times. But it appears that the club is moving on to the next phase. According to recent news, the French Champions have not arranged any tributes or jubilations for Mbappe tomorrow at Parc des Princes. The club is getting ready to monumentalize their league victory, which is not specifically for their all-time top scorer.

Reports suggest PSG Ultras, the passionate fan base of the club, has planned a tribute with a Tifo. The Ultras over the years have backed Mbappe and reports now suggest that Mbappe even had dinner with them in Parc des Princes. In his video, the 25-year-old expressed his gratitude towards all the fans, who are unsurprisingly sad about his departure.

On the other hand, tomorrow will mark Mbappe’s final game at the home of PSG, which has given him multiple memories over the last few years. The club will face the #12th-placed Toulouse but have already sealed their league title, making it a hat trick of triumphs and 12th overall. This will be Mbappe’s fifth Ligue Un trophy with PSG, and he is their top scorer with 255 goals in all competitions. However, their coach Luis Enrique, is looking ahead without their star winger, and it seems like his leaving PSG has not gone well with the club.

Earlier, Enrique hinted about Kylian Mbappe joining Real Madrid. However, the coach stated that, despite his absence, not many things would change in Paris. Enrique earlier said, “PSG will continue to be a great team and we’ll get even better. We will bring in players with a strong mentality and players who identify with the club… that’s how life works,” It now looks like the video has added fuel to the club’s disappointment. According to the report, the club was surprised and was never aware of such a video coming out. This may raise questions about whether the farewell video could have impacted the club’s decision not to give Mbappe a farewell at home.

With just three games to go for the 20218 World Cup winner at the French capital, the fans would like to see Mbappe finish with a few more goals. With him set to embark on another journey at Europe’s most iconic club, his legacy in Paris will remain for generations to come.
