Harry Kane has been one of the most prolific strikers of our generation. The testament to his brilliance is his 280 goals in 435 appearances at Tottenham. He has also been a brilliant servant for the England National Team over the years. Hence it’s not surprising why many talented strikers like Paul Mullin of Wrexham look up to him.
Speaking of the Red Dragons, their goalkeeper Ben Foster has been in the news of late for his opinion on Harry Kane’s transfer to Bayern Munich. In his latest podcast, the former Manchester United player opined that the Premier League will get negatively impacted by Kane’s absence.

Ben Foster is undeniably among the charismatic soccer personalities online. What makes him endearing is his honest persona. He is also one of the most welcoming and connected people in the soccer world today. In the latest episode of his podcast The Football Fill-in, the goalie had popular soccer personality Mark Goldbridge share the mic. In the episode, Ben and the cast spoke in particular about Harry Kane joining Bayern Munich. Long-time Kane fan Foster was obviously sad about it.
“I think a premier league without Harry Kane is a poorer place to be. I am going to miss him,” said Foster. He then hilariously shifted the context of his statement to the popular Fantasy Premier League game. Foster believed that Kane’s absence meant the absence of a sure shot point machine from the game.
“He was always in my Fantasy Premier League. It was guaranteed. He and Erling Haaland would have been a strike force to reckon with this year,” sadly revealed the goalie.
It’s no surprise that Ben Foster is vociferously upset with Kane’s decision. After all, his comments come fresh after he criticized Manchester United for choosing Hojlund over Kane.
Wrexham star upset with Manchester United for not spending on Harry Kane
Manchester United recently shelled out a whopping $82 million for young Denmark striker Rasmus Hojlund. Upon hearing the price tag, Foster’s first instinct was to criticize United. He believed that United should have rather added $30 million and chosen a more proven Harry Kane.

“I think personally for me, Man United, a lot will come down to Højlund, and whether he is able to hit the ground running or not. Once again, I’m gonna throw it out there. I think that if Man United could have spent an extra 30 million quid, they could have got Harry Kane. And it’s guaranteed. It’s guaranteed,” opined Foster in a recent interview with The United Stand.
