The UEFA Champions League is known for its heat, passion, and glory. But sometimes you should breathe some life into its madness. Kylian Mbappe did not follow the Cristiano Ronaldo path, but he would definitely like to emulate him with the trophies. The Frenchman is giving an impression of a changed temperament toward the game, getting a bit light-hearted. Mbappe recently was offered the role of a coach for a rival team for his blunt suggestion.

Kylian Mbappe grew up idolizing Cristiano Ronaldo and learning from him, but the Frenchman would be even happier if he could win at least a few Champions League titles like him. The race is on, and Mbappe’s PSG has started on a high with their quest.

Paris Saint-Germain triumphed over Borussia Dortmund in the first of their two ties. The game started off evenly, with neither team able to break the deadlock. But the players and German team coach found a way to make things a little interesting. Kylian Mbappe was told to coach the Dortmund side by its current coach in a so-called casual blather.

The offer was given out of humor in response to Kylian Mbappe’s order as PSG’s sporting director. The conversation went this way. The exchange went with Mbappe funnily as PSG’s sporting director saying “Change your player,” and Dortmund coach Edin Terzic replied back with “Come and coach in my place if you want.”

Basically, Kylian Mbappe asked Terzic to remove a player from the pitch, and he replied by asking Mbappe to be the coach instead of him. Two of them had a good laugh, and the match resumed. The home team won the game 2-0, and Kylian Mbappe scored the first goal. Terzic, after the game, was disappointed with the result and confessed to being less brave of the two teams.

Mbappe’s commitment to be the best, despite not following the Cristiano Ronaldo path

Kylian Mbappe is one of the most sought-after players in the world. The French forward was given a big offer to follow his childhood idol Cristiano Ronaldo’s path to Asia. The 24-year-old did not have to think much about rejecting the offer from Al Hilal to stay in Europe. Mbappe was committed to going to Real Madrid and reportedly did not want to go down his idol’s $500 million path. Soon after, fellow Frenchman Thierry Henry appreciated the PSG striker’s decision, claiming that ‘it saved the day’.

Kylian Mbappe may have rejected the best offer in soccer, but the player is already on the verge of becoming a legend. Even though he may not have achieved awards like Ballon d’Or or FIFA Player of the Year, the Parisian at 24 already has a Young Player of the Tournament and a Golden Boot in subsequent World Cups. Now his aim would be to win the Champions League with Paris and add it to his soccer portfolio.
