The sacking came on the back of a poor run of results recently and problems with the Al Nassr players, as per MARCA. Spanish publication AS has reported recently that Cristiano Ronaldo is not happy with Rudi Garcia. He was left frustrated after the draw against Al Feiha. The Portuguese is also unhappy at the way the team is playing under Rudi Garcia, the same reports claim.
The AS further claims Ronaldo feels the team can do better and win the title. However, the approach of Garcia was not satisfactory, according to the five-time Ballon d’Or winner. It will be interesting to see how Al Nassr performs in the remaining seven games of the season.
The sacking came ahead of the heavyweight game against Al Hilal. Al Nassr will visit Al Hilal next week on Wednesday in another crucial game in the context of the Saudi Pro League title. Al Hilal is fourth on the table and seven points behind second-placed Al Nassr. The Saudi Arabian club will start the search for a new manager, with a former Real Madrid manager in contention.
