A concept kit from the partnership between Al Nassr and Adidas has finally come to light. It was only last year, seven months after Cristiano Ronaldo‘s initiation into the Riyadh-based club, that a 1-year contract with Nike was announced. However, with no further extension with Nike, Adidas seems to have taken over as the team’s official kit sponsor starting from the 2024-25 season.

The German brand has secured an enduring alliance in a 3-year contract agreed upon by both parties valid until 2027. The forthcoming season marks the genesis of this collaboration and impressions of potential designs emerge!

Recently, Footy Headlines showcased an initial glimpse of a concept design crafted by kit designer IvanMD. The conceptualization incorporates the Adidas emblem while honoring the tradition-bound iconography: the vibrant yellow and deep blue tones. The body adheres to a majestic yellow foundation, while elements such as the Al Nassr crest, sponsorship details, and prominent shoulder stripes are emblazoned in blue. Here’s what the jersey looks like:

This render stands as tentative inspiration on behalf of past collaborations with other teams under Adidas’ mantle. It will indeed be intriguing to witness the direction the athletic apparel brand takes in creating the actual kit design and whether it will bear any resemblance to this concept art.

Regarding Cristiano Ronaldo, his lifelong contract valued at $1 billion with Nike remains intact. Yet, there appears to be a subtle shift in his connection to the brand. Just like Adidas and Al Nassr, Puma has also succeeded in replacing Nike, thereby ending their 26-year partnership with Portugal.
