Club football is on a one-month international break due to the FIFA Qatar World Cup. Liverpool has had a poor start to the Premier League campaign this season, and the break came at the wrong time for them as they were picking up the pace. However, they will be more worried about the fitness of their players participating in the month-long mega-event. Darwin Nunez has picked up his form and has scored 7 goals in 10 PL games. He will lead Uruguay’s frontline in Qatar and will be hoping to make it to the next round of the competition.
However, if Uruguay qualifies for the KOS stages, Nunez might face the club’s Brazilian teammates Fabinho and Alisson. Fabinho recently sat down for a discussion with Sky Sports and talked about Nunez’s fashion sense.

The FIFA World Cup kicks off in a day with host Qatar facing Ecuador in the opening game of the competition. A total of four teams have qualified from South America in the World Cup: Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and Ecuador. Nunez and Fabinho are among the seven Liverpool players to make it to the national team’s roster for the World Cup in Qatar.
Brazilian midfield anchor Fabinho recently appeared for an interview ahead of the World Cup. During the interview, he talked about his Liverpool teammates. He also called out Darwin Nunez and Kostas Tsimikas for their sense of fashion.
Fabinho trolls teammate Darwin Nunez and Kostas Tsimikas’s fashion sense
Liverpool star Fabinho recently answered some of the fans’ questions in an interview with Sky Sports. During the interview, he was asked about the Liverpool player with the ‘worst fashion sense’. He praised Naby Keita’s dressing style but was confused between Darwin Nunez and Kostas Tsimikas for the worst fashion style.
“Lately Nabi [Keita] is dressing really, really well,” Fabinho answered.
“I have two good options – Darwin [Nunez] and Kostas [Tsimikas],” Fabinho said. “Because they have a particular taste in fashion. But personally, I don’t like really much. And I think the guys in the dressing room have the same opinion as me. So maybe it’s in between them.”
Darwin Nunez joined Premier League side, Liverpool, earlier this summer after an impressive campaign with Benfica. However, he found it difficult to adapt to life in the Premier League at the start. But he has settled down well and has scored some important goals for the Merseyside club.
Fabinho feels France has a better squad than Brazil at the FIFA World Cup
During the interview, Fabinho also talked about Brazil’s chances at the upcoming world cup. He hopes to win the competition and end Europe’s 20-year dominance. However, he feels France has a better roster in the FIFA World Cup.
“I hope so, yes,” Fabinho said when asked if Brazil will win the World Cup.
