The Al Nassr captain bagged multiple accolades around the world playing for the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus. During a recent podcast, an ex-teammate commented on Ronaldo’s time with the Italian side claiming what was surprising, how people forget what he’s done at the club.
While the five-time Ballon d’Or winner had a great time at Juventus, the two sides parted ways on a rough note. Cristiano Ronaldo, two years following his departure from Turin, is now embroiled in a legal battle against his former employers.

Rio Ferdinand touches down on Cristiano Ronaldo’s spell with Juventus
Cristiano Ronaldo made a massive move to Italian side Juventus in 2018, following his departure from Real Madrid. The Portuguese following his move to Turin set the stage on fire with sensational performances. The player bagged 101 goals and 22 assists during his time with the side. However, the player and the club parted ways on a rough note, with Ronaldo forcing his way out to join Manchester United.
In a recent podcast, Red Devils’ legend Rio Ferdinand touched down on his spell with Juventus. He commented that the Portugal captain was on fire and it’s maddening how people thought he was declining.
“People forget what Ronaldo’s done at Juventus, you know. It’s madness. They talk about his time at Juventus like he was on the way down. Bro, he ripped up the record books. It’s crazy.”
Two years following his departure from Turin, Cristiano has filed a lawsuit against the Italian side claiming the side still owes him money. The two parties are set to present their case in front of a court this Wednesday.

Cristiano Ronaldo embroiled in a lawsuit with former employers
The Portuguese talisman has found himself embroiled in a legal battle with his former side, Juventus. Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that the Italian side is yet to pay him $21.2 million in unpaid wages. However, Juventus quickly rebutted his claims, noting that the player had signed papers that prove he had no outstanding dues with the club.

With the dispute growing, Cristiano Ronaldo has been granted the chance to take his case to court. The Al Nassr star’s lawyers alongside the player are scheduled to be present at the court tomorrow to present their case against Juventus. Both parties will be hoping to come out victorious in the legal dispute. If Juventus loses the case, this could be a colossal blow for the Old Lady considering their current financial conditions.
