Fans know Inter Miami for David Beckham, one of the enormous signings in MLS history. The Manchester United legend took a pay cut for the move to happen to the MLS club LA Galaxy. But in return, he got a chance to buy an expansion club for $25 million. And the United legend bought Inter Miami, which started playing in MLS in 2020. Now the club is again in the news for Lionel Messi.

However, Lionel Messi’s new teammate and Inter Miami goalkeeper have sounded a warning ahead of the Argentine’s move. Nick Marsman thinks the club is not ready to welcome the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner. But what makes the Dutch soccer star think in this way??

While speaking to ESPN, Marsman said,?“I personally think that this club is not ready for Messi’s arrival. We have a temporary stadium, people can just walk on the pitch. There are no gates. We also leave for the stadium without security,”?while speaking about the facilities. But he also added,?”I think they aren’t ready. But I hope he comes.”

It comes as a shock for the fans as Inter Miami boasts one of the best training facilities.?

Built-in a 50,000 square feet area, the training facilities cost about $60 million. To put it in context, Inter Miami’s training facilities are not only the best in MLS but are three times costlier than that of Arsenal FC. All Inter Miami teams use it.

It consists of a state-of-art gym with seven fields. Six of those fields are prepared from natural grass, while the seventh is synthetic. The training center, Florida Blue Center, is one of the most developed training facilities in the country. David Beckham’s club has got permission to build a new stadium, but until then, they will keep playing at DRV PNK Stadium.
