Cristiano Ronaldo has always had haters. The Portuguese star has been on a roll for Al Nassr as of late as he continues to rack up goals. Despite his sensational performances, some of his critics have slammed the player for taking up all the penalties to improve his goal tally. However, it seems like Ronaldo’s latest performance was enough to shut his haters down. The Portuguese veteran’s sister Katia Aveiro used the opportunity as she took to her social media to bash CR7’s critics.

The Al Nassr skipper was the star of the show for his team last night. Al Nassr emerged victorious over Al-Duhail in a hard-fought affair that saw the club captain score a brace to guide his team home. Apart from his heroics in the AFC Champions League, the former Manchester United star has been on fire in the domestic league with 11 goals to his name.

Cristiano Ronaldo shares a great relationship with his sister, Katia Aveiro. She is pretty vocal when supporting her brother. Katia took to her social media following Cristiano’s sublime performance against Al-Duhail to take a dig at his critics.

Katia posted two stories on her Instagram account showcasing her brother’s goals in the AFC Champions League from his latest outing. She also used those stories to take a dig at her brother’s critics and she didn’t hold back. Unexpectedly, she wrote, “Come on, boy. Ooo Penaldo scoring from the penalty spot again. I’m not saying anything, I just watch”. Quite an edgy statement for those fans who have called out the soccer legend for only scoring penalties.

Thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo’s brilliant outing, Al Nassr managed to beat their opponents 4-3 to move to the top of their group. The side has been in brilliant touch across competitions and has emerged as one of the top contenders to lift the AFC Champions League.

The Al Nassr captain ticked all the boxes last night as he put on a tremendous performance. However, Al-Duhail was not ready to back down just yet as they scored two quick goals in the 63rd and 67th minute to close the gap.

The Portuguese, however, shut the door to Duhail’s comeback as he scored once again in the 81st minute to double the team’s lead. Duhail’s Olunga scored in the 85th minute to get his team close to a leveler. However, it was too late for his side as they failed to find the equalizer before the final whistle.
