This isn’t the first time that a music artist has mentioned Messi’s name in a song. The Argentine soccer legend is quite popular across the globe with a gigantic fanbase. Weeks after surprising the fanbase, Travis Scott met another member of Messi’s World Cup-winning Argentine squad. The player was Paulo Dybala and the striker was quick to post an image of the two of them on his Instagram.
With a broad smile, they posed with an Argentina jersey. Dybala’s name and No. 21 were printed on the back on top of the blue and white stripes. Without a doubt, it came across as quite a surprise to the fanbase. The picture immediately went viral on social media. Everyone is beginning to wonder whether there is some connection between this picture and Scott’s mention of Messi in his new album.

The $80 million rapper did not repost the image Dybala tagged him in. Either, Scott is too busy with his live shows or there is something more coming up. A few weeks ago, the fans were surprised after hearing Messi’s name in a track by Travis Scott. In the same sentence was Tom Brady’s name too.
The lyric turned out to be rather edgy. What was it exactly about? Let’s dive deeper.

Recently, Scott released a much-awaited album namely Utopia. Interestingly, a particular song from this album will not only appeal to his fanbase. It will surely garner the attention of soccer and football lovers too. That’s because in his song ‘The Meltdown’, he makes a surprise mention of the ever-famous Lionel Messi and NFL legend Tom Brady.
But that particular lyric sounds like the rapper is preferring one over the other. Here is the line, “Your boy going Lionel Messi, I go Tom Brady”. Possibly, this could be the NFL star’s first mention in a song but Messi has enjoyed this privilege before. Even though Scott seemingly ditched him, the Argentine wouldn’t take offense to the surprise mention.
