Feel bad for Lainton. Don’t believe in luck or curses, but this sucks and hurts. That said have confidence in Howard. Let’s back him

Man, what a dagger for Lainton. Guy can't catch a break injury wise. https://t.co/96ACJvGNqC

I can only imagine how the 'Wrexham AFC Fans Chat' is coping with this news. It's a blow, but Howard is more than capable. Why on earth would any team want to bring in a new keeper with 8 games to go behind a settled defence? Some supporters baffle me. 🤷🏼♂️ https://t.co/3Of4pi1kVe

Many fans are sad that this has come to Wrexham losing a player. However, Lainton will hopefully make a comeback before the playoffs. Fans seem divided about Mark Howard filling the space of Lainton.
Although none of the owners have said anything about his injury, manager Parkinson confirmed the severity of the injury. Lainton suffered a knee ligament injury and is expected to miss six weeks’ worth of action. Moments like this make fans appreciate the leadership quality of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

It is not big news for fans that soccer is a very physically intensive game. It requires a lot of training and, despite that, soccer has seen many brutal injuries occurring on the ground. This revelation is very new to Rob McElhenney as it appears from his recent tweet.

About 11 days back, Wrexham played against Southend United and won the game 1-0. However, in the game, Jordan Tunnicliffe was wearing a bandage on the forehead. He got injured during the match and, for his dedication, got words of appreciation from one of the team owners. Rob McElhenney took to Twitter to discuss the heroics Tunnicliffe showed on the pitch.
