The MLS 2023 edition is finally underway. Defending champions, Los Angeles FC have gotten off to a bright start yet again. LAFC has managed to win both their opening games of the campaign. Fans have always connected the American soccer league to Hollywood?s biggest stars. Every celebrity and famous sports person is eager to jump on the ever-growing soccer bandwagon in America. For LAFC?s last game, the fans were delighted to have Owen Wilson in the stands yet again.
The American actor has been supporting and watching the MLS for quite a while.

Owen Wilson witnesses an epic 4-0 LAFC win!
Yesterday, Los Angeles FC beat New England Revolution 4?0. Denis Bouanga started the soccer season on a fantastic note after scoring a brace in his last game. The Gabon striker has now scored five goals in his last two games. Last night, the stadium went berserk after Bouanga scored the second goal of the game.

While the fans were going crazy, the cameras panned toward Owen Wilson. The American actor was also in the LAFC stand, just like the other fans. A few fans were surprised at seeing the Hollywood star at the game. The simple reason was that the Oscars were going on simultaneously. Considering his stature in the industry, the fans would have expected him to be at the prestigious award ceremony.

However, the Hollywood star definitely made the right choice by coming for the game. Without a doubt, Denis Bouanga has lived up to everyone?s expectations. After the abrupt retirement of Gareth Bale, LAFC is heavily reliant on the Gabon striker for their offensive output.
This wasn?t the first time Owen Wilson has appeared for an MLS game.

The American actor appeared in a couple of LAFC games last season as well. Around a year ago, the LA-based soccer club was playing their second game of the previous campaign against Portland Timbers. Even though the game ended 1-1, Owen Wilson did all he could to lighten up the fan?s mood. The Hollywood star crashed the LAFC supporter section by surprise after the game.
Little did Wilson and the fans know their favorite soccer club would go on a surprisingly win the MLS. Prior to this season, the fans and soccer pundits already considered Denis Bouanga and his soccer club as favorites to win the title for the second season in a row. The jury is still out there on whether the Gabon striker can maintain his goal-scoring form. The defending champions currently have no squad depth in the attacking department in case of an unfortunate injury.
