Recently, the MLS clash between D.C. United and Real Salt Lake City took place. The Salt Lake City-based club managed to edge out the Washington-based club, winning 1-2. Goals from Pablo Ruiz and Danny Musovski helped the away side win, while Chris Durkin?s was more of a consolation for the home side.

However, it was Pablo Ruiz?s goal that took the limelight. The D.C. midfielder scored an out-of-this-world goal to put his side in front. His goal made it to the internet, as fans couldn?t stop reacting to it. MLS posted about the goal on Instagram, and netizens started talking about it in the comments. One wrote, ?Outrageous,? while another wrote, ?That left foot.?

The goal was indeed a beauty, as fans couldn?t stop commenting with words like ?insane,? ?on top,? and ?golazo.? Another wrote, ?I seriously can’t stop watching. Incredible goal.? Some fans were criticizing the goalkeeper for being way too out of his line. One said, ?Ok but what was that goalie doin.?

Many were saying it has become a routine in the MLS to see players score such goals. This fan wrote, ?there’s at least one of these every month istg.? Nevertheless, the goal was simply genius. As for D.C., they must be embarrassed to see such a howler made by their keeper. Perhaps it also gave Wayne Rooney and D.C. United had a taste of their own medicine, as the striker once scored a similar goal.

Back in 2019, during the 10th minute of the match between D.C. and Orlando City, the striker scored an incredible goal from his own half of the field. The former Manchester United forward got the ball from the opposite player?s feet and simply struck it hard.

The ball floated high in the air while the Orlando City goalkeeper was high out of the box. Unfortunately, the keeper failed to save the shot as he went into the net with the ball. Indeed, it was an embarrassing moment for Orlando. On the other hand, it was an amazing goal from Rooney, who wrote his name in the history books.
