It was a brilliant night in the UFC 286 as Leon Edwards defeated Kamaru Usman in the Welterweight main event. The night was followed by Justin Gaethje’s win over Rafael Fiziev in the Lightweight co-main event. So, the Wrexham superstars were able to witness a top-notch performance of UFC stars at the O2 Arena, thus enjoying their win.

In fact, co-owner Rob McElhenney also hailed his stars by posting their video on his Instagram story saying, “What a great day followed by a great night.” Along with McElhenney, fans were also in awe of the Wrexham stars who were celebrating the important victory in style.

It was truly a well-deserved night for the boys, who fought hard after securing a crucial league win. They will now start preparing for a crucial home fixture against York City as they eye a 6-point lead in the league table.

Wrexham gets major league boost

With a win against Bromley, Wrexham has still kept their position at the top. Both the goals came in the second half as a brilliant brace from Paul Mullin was enough to win the game. A goal from Bromley tried to put down their confidence, but the Dragons managed to hold on till the final whistle. However, this isn’t the end of good for the Welsh club as their fierce rivals, Notts County suffered a shock draw.

The Magpies endured a 1-1 draw against Barnet, thus gifting a four-point lead to their arch-rivals. Both the goals came in the first half as neither side could score in the second half. Macaulay Longstaff’s strike gave the Notts a perfect lead. Nonetheless, Idris Kanu leveled the score just before halftime, thus ending the match in a draw.
