It was a brilliant victory for Wrexham in front of their owners, who were in the attendance at Racecourse Stadium. Fans are happy to see the club closing in on the Vanarama National League title. They are pumped with the display of the club, which is in line to cross three-digit points after scoring 100 goals so far in the league.
Wrexham is eyeing an automatic promotion spot this season. They narrowly missed out on the promotion last season. The world’s third-oldest club finished second last season behind Stockport by six points missing out on automatic promotion.
They went into the playoffs for the second available spot for the promotion to League Two from the National League. Meanwhile, their journey ended in the semifinal of the playoffs as they went down to Grimsby Town in front of their new owner and Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds.
A dominant performance from the Ryan Reynolds club
Wrexham made their intentions clear from the kickoff. They dominated the game from the word go, creating chances. Ryan Barnett came close in the 11th minute, but his strike hit the post. Finally, the pressure paid off in the dying moments of the first half. A blistering strike from James Jones hits the crossbar, and the ball ricocheted off the York city goalkeeper over the line.

The National League winners started the second-half where they left. They created chances but also faced some nervous moments in the game with just a goal lead. However, Sam Dalby scored in the 80th minute to give a comfortable lead to Wrexham. Elliot Lee rounded off the dominant 3-0 victory with another goal in the added time.
