Welcome to Wrexham has become a popular docuseries amongst soccer fans. The show has focused on the rise of the Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney co-owned club as they hope to take the club to the top of English football. While the show has received a great response from the fans, it seems like Rob McElhenney isn’t too happy with one of its aspects and wants to bring a major change to the docuseries.

During his latest appearance on the Elvis Duran show, Ollie Palmer stated that despite the growing popularity, Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenney wants to bring a key change to the Emmy-winning docuseries.

The striker stated, “It’s a nice thing to go back and relive it. But it’s one thing that Rob has tried to change with the documentary. Speaking to him in Vegas, he wanted to bring everyone to speed quicker. The season had finished and the four-five months later people who had watched the show already knew the outcome. So you kind of sit there and say we know it’s gonna happen.”

Wrexham stars jet off to Las Vegas to celebrate promotion in style!

The Red Dragons were back to Vegas once again with the player securing a well-deserved promotion to League One. Owners Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds spared no expense as the players were seen celebrating their achievement at the Hakkasan Nightclub in the MGM Grand Hotel. This is the second time the players were back at Hakkasan, with their first tour of Vegas also starting at the nightclub. The party didn’t stop with some Wrexham stars spotted in attendance for the Canelo Alvarez vs Jamie Munguia fight.

The day also saw players enjoy yet another lavish party at The Venetian at the TAO Beach Party. Defender Max Cleworth, who was a year too young last summer was seen enjoying the parties to the full of his extent this time around after missing on the spots last year. While the team made the most of the trip, it also marked the end for key players Luke Young, Ben Tozer, and Rob Lainton who were informed of their impending release before the trip to Vegas.
