Wrexham is showing no signs of stooping. The club has literally gone to another level, thanks to its owners, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. Ever since both took the strings into their hands, they’ve remarkably orchestrated the Welsh club to glory.
A club that was scuffling to win games is now leading the fifth-division league. Both have changed the image of the club entirely and have bolstered its image since then. The Hollywood duo has put quite a bit of money into the club and is desperate to lift it to success.
Both owners have made quite an investment, with recent additions to the club, including the likes of Billy Waters and Malik Dijksteel. In fact, it seems all the investment might be paying off, as the club is currently in the best shape. Moreover, they have reached another milestone as they are not ready to settle for less.

Rob McElhenney hails Wrexham fans
A few days ago, Wrexham women achieved a significant milestone as they were preparing for a fixture to play in front of the largest crowd ever. It was reported that they had sold over 6,000 thousand tickets for their ladies’ match against Connah’s Quay Nomads on Sunday at the Racecourse Ground.
However, now the number has significantly increased, as they have sold 7,309 tickets. This is, of course, a proud moment for the club as well as the owners, who didn’t hold back to hail the fans. Recently, co-owner Rob McElhenney hailed all the fans and urged them to break the number even more. The actor went on Twitter and asked them to create history while lauding the whole Wrexham community.
We’ve sold 7,309 tix for the @WrexhamAFCWomen on Sunday. 🤯 This shatters the record but I’d like to OBLITERATE IT INTO THE DUST OF HISTORY. I will be there and knowing how this town shows up for each other, I trust that you will too. LETS GO!!!! 💥 🏴 ⚽️ https://t.co/6s3U1FXuiJ

The women’s team and the under-19 team will be parading their respective trophies at the Racecourse on March 26. Earlier, the record was set by Cardiff City at 5,175 during their clash against Abergavenny in November 2022. However, the Red Dragons had already broken that record as they sold 4,500 tickets just two weeks before the match.
The Red Dragons march to glory
With just eight games left to play in the league, it seems Wrexham is close to achieving its long-awaited dream. They are currently sitting at the top with 94 points, just four points clear of their rivals, Notts County.
