Canada’s soccer team is playing in the first FIFA World Cup since 1986. They finished on the top of the World Cup qualifiers table with eight wins from 14 games. It has been an incredible journey as they managed to finish above giants such as Mexico and the USMNT. However, they entered the World Cup in impressive form after beating Japan in a friendly. But, they went goalless in their loss to Belgium in the opening game. However, many are blaming Drake for Canada’s woes as Davis posted a picture alongside him before the game.

Canada is placed in group B at the Qatar World Cup alongside Belgium, Croatia, and Morocco. Croatia and Morocco played a scoreless draw which has increased Canada’s chances of knockout stages. However, they would still need to win their remaining games to book a place in the Round of 16.
