Now Focused on NWSL With San Diego Wave, USWNT Star Alex Morgan Reveals the ‘Biggest Locker Room Ick’

The preparations for the 2023 World Cup are going brilliantly, especially for the USWNT. The women’s side is all set to fly to Australia and New Zealand to battle for the prestigious trophy between July 20 and August 20. Athletes like Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe, and Trinity Rodman will be looking to bring home yet another trophy.

The WNT recently gathered to prepare for the final friendlies before the World Cup. They rallied together in two emphatic fixtures against the Republic of Ireland, thus winning both matches. Amid the preparations, they also foregathered for a photo shoot in their new kits, which they’ll be wearing in this World Cup. In order to keep things light, the USWNT players also took part in a recreational Q&A.

The question-answer game was, of course, hilarious, as it revealed some disgusting habits that occur in the locker room.

Alex Morgan revealed her Ick

Of course, there are some instances where, at times, peers do things that may disgust the other. Soccer players are no exception. Players usually have bad habits that their teammates witness. Hence, recently, during the photo shoot, several USWNT stars were asked what their biggest locker room ick was.

Morgan was also put up with the same question. She revealed her icky moment is when some players wear their jerseys inside out. This practice is something Morgan isn’t fond of, as she didn’t hold back while describing it.

In the clip, the other stars were also asked the same question. Megan Rapinoe revealed when someone doesn’t wear shower shoes. On the other hand, her OL Reign teammate, Rose Lavelle, was quite confused, as she was contemplating throughout the whole video.

Portland Thorns defender Crystal Dunn’s icky moment is when the coach asks them to stop the music and go out on the pitch. Either way, it was quite fun to hear icky moments from such famous soccer players, especially from Morgan, who’ll be returning to her domestic side.

Back with the San Diego Wave

After helping her international side clinch victory in both friendly fixtures, Morgan is back with her domestic side. The forward is now back with the San Diego Waves and will be looking to keep the winning momentum. She’ll also be looking to keep her scoring record on track as she has scored three goals in two matches so far.

The Waves are currently preparing for their fixture against the OL Reign. Morgan’s side is sitting in second place with six points. On the other hand, Megan Rapinoe’s side has just three points in hand and sits in fifth place. Both sides will be looking to clinch a victory in the emphatic fixture.
