The Saudi League is slowly starting to get excited in the second half of the season. Al Hilal have continued winning their games and staying table toppers. But, it looks like Al Nassr have entered the race in the last few weeks. Cristiano Ronaldo and co are on a 16-game unbeaten run in all the competitions. However, this time, the Portuguese forward will not receive the praise. This recent brilliant form is because of their summer signings Otavio and Aymeric Laporte.

Al Nassr decided to sign Otavio from Porto for a reported 65.1 million. Meanwhile, Aymeric Laporte arrived for a fee rumored in the region of 27.5 million to improve their team. They have not yet lost a match since their defeat against Al Taawoun on Matchweek 2. The signing of Laporte has helped them create their attack from the back and also provided them with defensive stability. Whereas, Otavio has provided stability in the midfield. He also makes runs of the forwards to join the attack and helps overload the opposition box.
