With not anything much left to pursue in the 2023-24 campaign, Al Nassr is already looking ahead to the next season. Disappointed by their lack of significant trophies this year, the Knights of the Najd are gearing up for substantial squad changes. While big names like Casemiro and Sergio Ramos are on their radar, reports suggest Cristiano Ronaldo has urged Al Nassr to pursue Argentine star Paulo Dybala for their next major signing.

Even though Lionel Messi’s national teammate has been no less than a central figure at Roma since two years after his arrival, his journey might come to an end in Europe. According to reports from Argentine journalist Lucas Gatti and as compiled by @ByanNassr, Ronaldo wants Dybala to don the yellow and blue jersey alongside him. The Portuguese superstar has shared the locker room with the 30-year-old at Juventus between 2018-2021.

Familiar with the attacking link-up, CR7 knows Dybala can be a perfect addition at the Al Awwal Stadium. Both not only scored a lot of goals together but also lifted two Seria A titles, the Super Cup and one Italian Cup. However, Dybala is currently tied with Roma until 2025 and Al Nassr would be required to sign a check for signing the left-footed winger for a certain fee. 

Either way, it’s quite surprising to hear Ronaldo demand the Argentinian superstar over his former long-term Real Madrid teammates, Ramos and Casemiro. Yet, should Al Nassr manage to sign Dybala, then it would certainly give the squad a much-needed boost. This season, he notched over 16 goals and 10 assists in over 37 games. 

While the Al Nassr faithful would be looking forward to Ronaldo’s request being fulfilled, there’s a possibility it may come at the cost of losing their star player.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr might part ways with Sadio Mane!

According to reports, Sadio Mane is said to be drawing interest from two-league winning sides. The first club interested in acquiring the winger’s talents is Al Qadsiah FC. While they previously competed in Saudi Arabian Division I, they have now been promoted and are poised to face Al Nassr in the upcoming season. Meanwhile, the second offer presents an opportunity for Mane to make a return to Europe.

Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray is aiming to attract the Senegalese international. After securing the Trendyol Super Lig title, they will be competing in the UEFA Champions League next season, providing the winger with an opportunity to participate in the prestigious tournament. It’s worth noting that Mane joined just a year ago from Bayern Munich and is under contract with Riyadh until 2026. On the other hand, if Mane decides to stay, then he, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Paulo Dybala can forge an emphatic trio next season.
