Morgan won the 2015 and 2019 World Cup titles. She was also the gold medal winner for the United States team in the 2012 Olympics in London. Despite joining the national team in 2009, she didn’t waste time proving her worth. While her career has spanned a whopping 15 years, she played in 224 matches, scoring 123 goals. Among those, she was also the US Soccer Player of the Year twice in 2012 and 2018.

Another noteworthy point and an example of her standing her ground came in 2019. She was among the players who sued the US Soccer for gender Discrimination. This led her to advocate for equal pay, as mentioned before. This resulted in both men’s and women’s teams agreeing to have equal pay in 2022.
