USMNT started appearing on soccer fields after the FIFA World Cup 2022. They are playing a couple of friendlies. USMNT had a relatively incredible run in the Qatar tournament and with the next edition of the tournament taking place in the USA, they have time to develop the team. The core of the team turned out to be an incredible midfield that only conceded one goal in the group stage.
Fans were excited to see the young base of the team outplay teams like Iran and England. There are high hopes from the team to be a better side when they play at home in the 2026 WC.

The team started its WC campaign with a 1-1 draw against Wales. It surprised fans that the USA even managed to qualify for the WC. However, the surprise would only build as they stopped England from scoring a single goal after they had scored 6 against Iran in their first match. The team managed to qualify for the knockout stage after beating Iran 1-0. The team’s campaign would end against the Netherlands. However, fans are now hopeful for the future.

The team yesterday played their first match after the World Cup against Serbia. Fans and experts expected positive results from the match. USMNT lost a relatively easy match against weak Serbia. Not only did this put coaching and players in question but also the future of the team. However, it is certain that when key players like Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, and others join the team back. The team has to perform even without key players to prepare the best for the big tournament. The bench has to perform to give strength to the deep roaster.
