David Beckham Joins “The King” Patrick Mahomes Mania as He Shares Super Bowl MVP’s Rare Image Donning Michael Jordan Jersey

The iconic Patrick Mahomes won the NFL Super Bowl for the Kansas City Chiefs in a stunning match. Winning the Super Bowl for the second time in the past four seasons, Mahomes has etched his way into the history books. Moreover, seeing his achievements on the pitch, famous soccer legend David Beckham shared a story on Instagram featuring Mahomes. Significantly, we see the outstanding quarterback donning a Michael Jordan jersey in an old picture. 

Beckham added a caption stating, ‘The King’ as he became a two-time Super Bowl MVP. Beckham shared the image on his social media account as a young Patrick wore the recognizable Air Jordan jersey.

Hence, fans got a taste of what the quarterback is all about in the final. 

The soccer player from England loves football and similarly appreciated Tom Brady after his recent retirement. In Brady’s retirement video, Beckham commented, “We love you man @tombrady” in his Instagram post. After Brady’s retirement, Mahomes is the current best quarterback in the league. He continues to showcase his stunning feat of talent on the football pitch.

The Chiefs won the Super Bowl in 2020 after defeating the San Francisco 49ers. It is the third time the team played in the Super Bowl championships in four years. Mahomes lost the 2021 Super Bowl to Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Understanding his ankle injury, Mahomes never wanted to leave the pitch and dreamt of his second championship. According to CNN, Mahomes stated, “I knew I wasn’t coming out of this game, even with that high ankle sprain, it kinda reaggravated a little bit. I’ll worry about that in the offseason.”
