Former PSG forward Neymar might have had the whole soccer world and media in splits after his blockbuster move to Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal. But on the day of his unveiling to a 67,000-strong crowd at King Fahd International Stadium, the Brazilian soccer star’s son stole the tabloid headlines.

Neymar’s eldest son, Davi Lucca, spoke English with such fluency and with a certain pervading calmness, cleverness, and maturity, which led to the entire media in attendance taking notice.

It was certainly a day of celebration for Neymar and his family, as the Brazilian ace has now completed his move to Al Hilal a week or so ago.

While the former PSG forward’s transfer has been covered all over the world by soccer media outlets, it could also take Neymar’s family some time to adjust and settle into the new country they will now call home.

Al Hilal fans will have to wait to see Neymar in action in the Saudi Pro League

But moving countries and clubs aside, it’s fairly certain that it could take time for Neymar to hit the ground running for his new club as well. Neymar is currently recovering from an ankle injury that he picked up in February 2023.

But that hasn’t stopped Brazil from calling him up to the national setup for the coming international break. Speaking about Neymar’s Brazil call-up despite being injured, Al Hilal Boss Jorge Jesus said, “I don’t know how the Brazilian national team (could have) called him. He is not ready.”
