A disappointing stint at Al Hilal for Neymar
This is Neymar’s second consecutive injury. The player already missed Al Hilal’s initial matches due to an injury to his right leg in February. After recovering, Neymar could only play a handful of games for Al Hilal without making any real contributions. The player scored just one goal and three assists.
After spending over $400 million on the star, the team had to deregister the player to fill his spot in the squad. The Brazilian’s initial inclusion in the national team shocked current coach Jorje Jesus. And finally, the nightmare turned true after Al Hilal lost the player’s services for the entire season.
