“Should he go abroad? I’ll be honest, I thought he was going to leave, I think everyone thought he was going to leave.” He acknowledged that Mbappe had the opportunity to extend his contract but chose not to, at least initially. Despite all the uncertainty and speculation, Henry commended Mbappe for one trait: his unwavering passion for the game. Henry also addressed the criticism that had surfaced around Mbappe during this period of uncertainty.
