Inter Miami’s win against Real Salt Lake was against all odds. For a team that managed just one win in pre-season, they put up quite a convincing performance. However, LA Galaxy have shown that the Herons are still not the complete article yet. In the high-octane clash, the Los Angeles side held Miami to a draw, courtesy of a goal from Dejan Joveljic in the 75th minute. Despite dominating 64% of the possession and creating clear-cut chances, the Herons could not capitalize. With Luis Suarez, in particular, being quite wasteful. And fans are not happy.
Lionel Messi’s effort in the 92nd minute prevented Inter Miami from losing all 3 points. But Luis Suarez, who had a lively MLS debut, had a night to forget, with questions raised about his fitness.

Inter Miami supporters took to X (formerly Twitter), to discuss the match, with Luis Suarez being the focal point. One fan added that Luis Suarez is undoubtedly one of the best soccer players of the last 20 years, but it’s time for him to hang his boots. He also adds that the Uruguayan striker has lost his mobility.
Luis Suarez is one of the greatest players of the last 20 years (at least). But he needs to retire. He is showing he can no longer move. He is a liability for Miami.

Another supporter reckons that the former Barcelona striker is not fit. He also adds that this results in Suarez being unable to stretch defences, and hence Inter Miami’s playstyle becomes one-dimensional.
Luis Suarez looks so unfit. He cannot stretch any defence because he simply don’t have the legs anymore. Miami have no pace out wide either which leads them to be one dimensional with slow build up

Another user believes that despite Inter Miami having old stars like Messi, Luis Suarez, and Busquets, they still have enough firepower to defeat a side like LA Galaxy.
Listen I know these guys are old but a team with Luis Suarez, Messi, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets surely should be able to beat an MLS team

One fan found the funny side of the Luis Suarez performance.
The name of Luis Suarez is scarier than his play right now.

In contrast to the criticism aimed at the player, one supporter feels Inter Miami are the one contributing to Suarez’s troubles.
Inter Miami is using Luis Suarez wrong. You can’t expect him to use his legs anymore.

One person termed the legendary striker as a ‘liability’ and that he needed to turn the situation around.
Luis Suarez need to turn it around cuz he is a liability

An account called the MLS Moves is in disbelief at how Luis Suarez managed to win the MVP award in the Brazilian Serie A.
I was literally just wondering how the hell Luis Suarez won MVP of the Brazilian league last year and then @TaylorTwellman mentions that it doesn’t even look like the same player based on his limited movement.

Interestingly, one supporter believes that Suarez is playing with pain and that is contributing to his sub-par performances. He also has faith in El Pistolero’s deadly finishing skills. However, added that Leo Campana is the better option considering his match fitness.
Luis Suarez is limping when he walks. The way he moves, he looks like he's in pain. Given half a chance, he will score. But I really feel that Leo Campana is the better option for a variety of different reasons, namely match fitness. #LAvsMIA

One supporter feels the Uruguayan striker should be used as a bench option rather than as a starter.
Rather than Inter Miami starting him they should instead have him come off the bench as a super sub so he can hopefully score late on. Luis Suarez is not getting through an entire MLS season starting almost every game for them. Give him 20 or maybe 30 minutes off the bench.
