During Saturday’s AC Milan-Parma clash in the Serie A, a reporter asked Pulisic what he thinks about Mauricio Pochettino’s potential arrival to the USMNT camp. “It’s good news. I think it’s time for a change, time for us to take another step and really improve as a team,” said the AC Milan star. Thereafter, the 25-year-old striker detailed how important it is for the USMNT to buckle up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, played on home turf.

“Leading up to this World Cup, we need to find some good results and build some momentum leading up to that moment,” Christian Pulisic added. Pulisic and Co. kick-start a new era from next month. They will play Jesse Marsch’s Canada in Kansas City and also face New Zealand later that month.
