Wrexham reports significant losses

Wrexham recently released its annual financial reports that give an overall summary of the club’s financial records. The report was for over 12 months, until June 30, 2022. Hence, given the club’s recent surge in fame and glory, they were expected to do better on paper.

The financial report suggested that the new owners have endured losses of over $3.5 million. This is quite eyebrow-raising, as despite the turnover being up five times in the previous year, they have endured such a loss. However, in terms of turnover, they have done a decent job.

The club witnessed a massive rise in the overall turnover as the figure came to around $7.4 million. They had a 404% increase in their turnover, which was around $2.5 million in the previous year. The turnover came with the help of matchday, retail, sponsorships, and advertising.
