The NBA is home to various characters who are not afraid to showcase their fashion sense. Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma enters the arena by donning some of the fashion industry’s creative clothes. Likewise, Jimmy Butler was recently spotted wearing an MLS soccer team LA Galaxy away jersey. Fans, though, noticed something was off with the jersey. They took to Twitter to voice their opinions. 

Adidas created the jersey, but the Miami Heat’s star had the logo missing from his. Therefore, fans discussed online to discuss the authenticity of the jersey. Even if it wasn’t an original, Jimmy certainly rocked it. He had his name behind the jersey stating Butler-22. He was recently in the news for producing a stunning alley-oop to win the game against Houston Rockets.

The USMNT Only Twitter account posted a picture of Butler wearing the famous jersey. They captioned, “Jimmy Butler rocking the LA Galaxy kit.” But according to a fan, he spotted the jersey missing something. He tweeted, “How are you rich but rocking a fake jersey smfh.” The iconic Adidas logo went missing, and a person who is wealthy as Butler meant fans took to Twitter to state their opinions.   

One fan pointed out the logo was missing as well. He tweeted, “Ngl that fit is pretty. What I do find funny tho, is the missing Adidas logo.” The current price of the jersey is $80. The black and green stripes with golden lines in between are one of the bestselling jerseys out there. 

Another fan provided comic relief on the situation, stating how the logo just fell off. He tweeted, “With the fake jersey, or did the Adidas logo fall off? Lol.” Although everyone is subjected to their spending power, Butler has a net worth of $60 million. It’s strange to see him donning a non-original jersey, but he spends his money wisely.

Apart from having a positive fashion sense, fans would probably know him more for his work outside the NBA court. Jimmy received the NBA Cares Community Assist Award from Kaiser Permanente for his community work. He takes great courage in helping the youth in Chicago to uplift them and promote them to soar to greater heights. Butler works with Bulls’ community partner, Youth Guidance, to provide a change in society. And to sum up, he knows where he needs to spend his wealth.
