Rob McElhenney, the owner of Wrexham AFC, has praised Mac McClung after the young player’s stunning performance in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest. McElhenney, who is best known for his role as Ronald ‘Mac’ McDonald on the comedy series ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’, was one of those impressed by McClung’s display. It looks like the Philadelphia-born star has welcomed the young talent to ‘The City of Brotherly Love’. McClung’s performance was all the more impressive given that he is the first player from the Philadelphia 76ers to win the Slam Dunk Contest. This feat came just a few days later after Mac signed a two-year contract with the 76ers on February 14th.

Philadelphia 76ers also replied to Rob McElhenney’s comments. “This is a collab we never knew we needed,” the tweet read. It is always nice to see young talent be appreciated and with Mac McClung, it is certainly well deserved.
