Soccer has seen many great names. Names like Maradona, David Beckham, and Pele have been an inspiration to thousands. But no one had the impact on a generation of soccer players like Lionel Messi. The only thing that was missing was an International trophy which he has tripled in the last couple of years. The only trophy that he wanted which kept getting away from him was the FIFA trophy. However, he has achieved that one too in December last year.

The PSG star has been planning the next stage of his career. It is possible that he will play in one major international tournament with the three stars decorated Argentinian kit. However, it is rarely possible that the star appears in the next edition of the FIFA tournament. Whatever he may decide, nothing can change the impact he had on soccer fans all around the world. The theories aren’t hollow though, this impact has become apparent in a recent study.

Roger Federer’s face lit up as the journalist mentioned Lionel Messi during an interview. If this isn’t a sign that the guy loves soccer, nothing will. Federer then said, “Funny enough, I haven’t spoken about Messi nearly enough. What I love about Messi probably most is when he gets the ball and is able to turn the body towards goal, and then he has full vision. Then he’s going to pass, or dribble, or shoot. There’s always three options for him. He’s one of the few who’s got that.”
