“My Dad Was in ICU” – Shakira Confesses ‘Finding Out’ Gerard Pique’s Infidelity Through Media While Ailing Father Battled for Life After Horrific Fall at Home

Shakira’s rollercoaster ride from 2022 when her family fell apart

In this story, we roll back to when Milan received his First Holy Communion. The Colombian icon revealed that her father had a major fall around that same time at home. Along with that, Gerard Pique’s infidelity also surfaced on the internet and social media during that very moment. She told People En Espanol, “Everything happened at once. My home was falling apart”.

“I was finding out through the press that I had been betrayed while my dad was in ICU. I thought I wasn’t going to survive so much”. Shakira continued, “The man I have loved the most in my life, my father, was leaving me when I needed him the most”. Without a doubt, it was an unimaginable period of time for the Hips Don’t Lie singer. She really had no choice but to seemingly face reality all alone.

Regarding her dad, she continued, “He has overcome COVID once, two accidents, one pneumonia, and five surgeries—all of this at 91 years of age, in less than six months. My dad is the biggest example of resilience, and my mother has been by his side day and night”. Along with her mother’s help, they successfully managed to hold the family together.
