However, this hasn’t sat right with Portuguese TV show host Leo Caeiro who heavily criticized the model. He went on to claim that models like Gambatesa are simply looking “for easy money, an easy life”. He also suggested that they must be envious of Georgina Rodriguez’s life as Ronaldo’s partner.

“Everyone must envy the life that Georgina has, she has the life of a queen,” Caeiro added. “They see it, they also think it’s possible”. While some might agree with Caeiro’s criticism there’s also a chance Gambatesa simply wanted to share an infinitesimal moment that she had with a big star like Ronaldo. During the social media exchange, Barbara Gambatesa and Cristiano Ronaldo had a brief interaction. The dialogue began with a heart emoji from the model, to which Ronaldo replied with an inquiry. After exchanging greetings and learning that Gambatesa was from Napoli, Ronaldo asked, “When are you coming to Madrid?”

The rest of the exchange was lighthearted in nature, with Gambatesa jokingly suggesting that Ronaldo should come to Italy instead. Unfortunately, it appears that no face-to-face meeting occurred as the footballer concluded their interaction by laughing before ignoring subsequent messages from the model.
