The soccer universe witnessed yet another sudden tragic death. Ivorian defender Moustapha Sylla passed away on Sunday. The RC Abidjan star suddenly collapsed on the field during a league game. Teammates around him claimed that the Ivorian defender suddenly collapsed. A few opposition players saw this incident and immediately signaled for medical help from the sidelines. The medical staff immediately rushed Sylla to the hospital. Unfortunately, his team revealed that the soccer star died on the way to the hospital.

Last month, a similar incident transpired in Turkey. But the medics somehow brought the soccer star back to life after reportedly being ‘clinically dead’.

Oleh Danchenko’s close escape from death

Ukrainian defender Oleh Danchenko was a part of his team’s training camp in Turkey. His team was prepping for a friendly game. The soccer star suddenly collapsed during training. Reports claimed that Danchenko was not breathing at all after he collapsed. The medics rushed to the defender with a defibrillator. To everyone’s delight, the Ukrainian defender was breathing again after a few minutes.

As per SKAI, the soccer star was hospitalized immediately and was treated in the intensive care unit. Moreover, soccer fans from all over the world lauded the medic’s quick thinking to revive Danchenko. However, fans are beginning to wonder why cardiac arrests and heart issues are suddenly becoming common issues among athletes. Almost every month, the soccer world mourns a tragic death related to a heart issue.
