It’s not possible for a 38-year-old athlete to play the way he’s playing. And he’s always chasing the game. His ability is incredible.”

Aveiro further added, “Gratitude, Ronaldo. Thank you, brother. For, once again, changing the standard that, when you pass 33 or 34 [years old], you’re old for soccer. They don’t know anything about your history, your origins or what you’re made of. They just think they do. You’re incredibly special. You’re predestined. I’m proud of your story. And what an honor to be part of it. Just gratitude, really, and pride that doesn’t fit in my chest. Surreal.”
