Months After Turning Down $9 Billion Adventure, $275 Million Worth Couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis Show Support to Alex Morgan’s Team in NWSL

The 2023 season of the NWSL is going really well so far. All the teams are vying to get their hands on the silverware. The likes of Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe, and Trinity Rodman are looking to lead their side to glory. All sides are giving each other tough competition as the race for the title continues.

Speaking of Morgan, the player recently played an emphatic clash against league leaders the Portland Thorns. While the stadium was filled with the usual fans, a special Hollywood couple also came to watch the match.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, a well-known celebrity couple, are widely recognized in the entertainment industry. Yesterday, both came to watch the emphatic NWSL clash between the Waves and Portland. In fact, they even got a picture taken with USWNT star Alex Morgan.

The $275 million worth couple came to show their support for the Wave’s forward. While they showed their full support to Morgan and her team, they couldn’t clinch a victory. Moreover, Morgan also couldn’t get her name on the scoresheet and impress her special guests. She must have been looking to give Kutcher and Kunis quite a show.

Waves hosted Thorns at the Snapdragon Stadium as both sides tussled for a win. Unfortunately, the game ended in a stalemate as they played a two-goal draw. After 85 goalless minutes of soccer, the Waves broke the deadlock thanks to a strike from Sofia Jacobsson. However, they were denied three points as a late goal from Reyna Reyes helped them split the points.

Both Kutcher and Kunis must have been looking to see Morgan win, but they still enjoyed the match. Among the couple, Kutcher seems to be a soccer fanatic. In fact, he even had a chance to invest in an English Premier League team.

Turned down a $9 billion adventure

In a recent interview with his co-actor Reese Witherspoon to promote their upcoming Netflix film ‘Your Place or Mine,’ Ashton Kutcher expressed his passion for soccer. “I’m a big United States soccer fan,” He said. Nobody can hate United States soccer because we’re never in the final.

Kutcher revealed that he had a chance to invest in a soccer team. “I have not watched an MLS game yet but I do watch Premier League, and I actually came very close to investing in a Premier League team in the last month.”

However, the actor ultimately decided against pursuing his love for soccer due to his busy schedule and time commitments. “If I own a football team I want to go watch the matches and I’m like ‘do I have time to fly back and forth?” Kutcher said.
