Soccer fans just got one of the biggest surprises ever. It came months after Tom Holland and Zendaya visited and collaborated with Tottenham Hotspur. The sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse will be released in a couple of months and fans are super excited about it.

It seems this time, along with their usual target mass, the movie executives have gained the attention of the soccer community. In one of their latest post on the official handle of the movie, they collaborated with the Spurs star Son Heung-min.

The connection between Spider-Man and Tottenham Hotspur is nothing new. A couple of years ago, Tom Holland appeared in a clip for the club. He has been associated with the club ever since. That meeting resulted in the Spurs roaster mimicking Spider-Man as they celebrated goals in mimicking Spider-Man as they celebrated goals in the very next game.

 Spider-Man and Son Heung-min collab

A few days ago, Spider-Man released their custom personas for many celebrities and athletes. Along with great names like Serena Williams, Naomi Osaka, LeBron James, and Stephen Curry, they got Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-min on whom they based their personas.

Min’s avatar is a soccer-themed Spider-Man who is wearing a red t-shirt with the Tottenham Hotspur logo. The pose they chose is from the aforementioned match where Min celebrated in Spider-Man style after scoring a goal.

Among many names, watching this collaboration must thrill Tom Holland, as he has gone to great lengths discussing his love for the club. Not only himself, but he had also turned Zendaya into a soccer fan and then made her a true Spurs fan.

Tom Holland made Zendaya a Spurs fan

Back in Jan this year when Zendaya won a Critics Choice Award, the club released a clip on its social media platforms. The clip had both Zendaya and Tom Holland, along with Spurs star Son Heung-min. In the video, Holland shouts, “You’re now a Spurs fan” to which Zendaya replied, “I know!”.
