Months After Hiding Son’s Infidelity With Shakira, Gerard Pique’s Mother Fires a 3-Word Response to Ongoing Feud With the Colombian Singer

The public feud between Shakira and Gerard Pique is surprisingly still going on. The Colombian singer released her first diss track back in January! Despite the singer leaving the country, public forums and the internet is still talking about Pique’s former relationship.

Recently, the soccer veteran’s mother was at an interview talking about her son’s life. It is safe to say that she left the crowd with an epic three-word response surrounding the diss track. Her response raised quite a few eyebrows on the internet. Those three words also gave rise to immense doubt and speculation, despite the singer not even being present in Spain!

Gerard Pique’s mother, Montserrat Bernabeu has quite often spoken in favor of her son. As per past reports, the fans were quite aware of the shaky relationship that Shakira had with her mother-in-law. Once, a video emerged in which Montserrat shockingly attempted to physically shut the singer’s mouth in a public space.

That video basically proved that the bond between the two isn’t that great. Through the diss tracks, the Latin American singer has fired shots at the entire family. As part of the drama, Shakira created a black ‘witch mannequin’ for her mother-in-law and placed it on the balcony.

In a recent interview on TV3’s Collapse, the interviewer asked Montserrat about the entire embarrassing public controversy. To that, she shockingly replied, “I am in shape”. Nobody quite understood what exactly Montserrat meant by that statement. Is she preparing for a major comeback against Shakira or is she just informing the Colombian that they don’t care anymore?

Back in January, the broken relationship between the singer and Pique’s mother surfaced on social media through various reports.

As per Univision, sources close to the Pique family revealed that Montserrat has always considered Shakira an “intruder”. She was extremely uncomfortable about her ‘non-Catalan’ status. The mother also had a problem with the Waka–Waka singer’s massive public stature in society. A source also shockingly revealed that Pique’s mother willingly helped him hide his secret relationship with Clara Chia Marti.

The two of them used to reportedly meet at Pique’s parent’s home before the infidelity scandal. The report also shockingly quotes, “While Shakira cried on her mother-in-law’s shoulder, she was an accomplice in hiding this new relationship”. Despite all the drama and chaos on the internet, Pique is reportedly ready to marry Clara Chia Marti in the near future in a lowkey manner.
