Despite Husband Robert Lewandowski’s Concerns, Bold Black-Belt Wife Prepares for MMA Challenge

To call Robert Lewandowski a goal-scoring machine is an understatement. He won the La Liga Golden Boot just in his first season with Barcelona and even attracted rumored offers from Saudi Arabia. There’s no doubt that Lewandowski is undeniably one of the most lethal strikers of his generation.

However, it looks like his wife may also be looking to showcase her ‘lethal strikes’ but in a different sport. Anna Lewandowska, a renowned Polish karateka and wife of soccer superstar Robert Lewandowski, is reportedly considering making her debut in MMA.

For those who don’t know along with being a fitness trainer to the Barcelona striker, Anna Lewandowska also has a black belt in karate. On top of that, she also has a bronze medal from the 2009 Karate World Championships under her belt. It’s no surprise that Anna is eager to take on new challenges and explore her limits. According to reports, the karateka is wanting to make her MMA debut but she will need to discuss it with his husband first.

However, it seems that her husband has previously not been entirely on board with this idea. Just recently Anna received an offer from Slawomir Peszko, the owner of KSW, the leading mixed martial arts company in Poland. She discussed this with Robert Lewandowski. And he was less than thrilled about the prospect.

Despite these concerns, Anna seems determined to pursue her passion for martial arts and test her skills against other fighters. Of course, the decision to enter the octagon is not one to be taken lightly, especially for someone who has never fought before. That being said, Anna does have some advantages in her corner. Only time will tell what the couple decides on. However, there’s one decision Lewandowski is keen on and that is to not leave Barcelona yet.

Robert Lewandowski is not leaving Barcelona

Amid all the signings that have been happening in Saudi Arabia, rumors also started swirling of Lewandowski possibly moving to the Middle East. The prolific striker has three more years remaining on his contract with Barça and is focused on achieving further success with the team. Despite being aware of interest from other clubs, Lewandowski remains unfazed and committed to seeing out his current contract.

Speaking in an interview he stated, “I have other priorities at the moment”. It is clear that his attention and priorities are solely focused on performing well for Barcelona. Catalan fans can rest assured knowing that they have one of the world’s top goalscorers on their team.
