As the start of the MLS season draws near, the transfer market is becoming increasingly active. In one development, last season’s MLS Golden Boot winner Denis Bouanga is generating significant interest in a potential move away from his current team, LAFC. In addition to this, Inter Miami has expressed interest in acquiring Philippe Coutinho, another former Barcelona player.

It has been reported that Denis Bouanga has expressed a desire to leave Los Angeles FC. Amidst these reports, there is even interest from Saudi club Al Hilal for the striker. Now, two French clubs are also rumored to be considering making a bid for the 29-year-old.

According to French journalist Mohamed Toubache-Ter Liogue, Ligue 1 side Rennes is currently considering the possibility of signing Denis Bouanga. Nevertheless, they are not the only ones interested in him. Another Ligue 1 team, Lens, is reportedly pursuing the French forward.

As per reports, Lens’ recruitment coordinator, Fred Hebert, has already met with the player. Additionally, Nice, a third French club, had shown significant interest in the LAFC star but ultimately chose to sign Mohamed-Ali Cho from Real Sociedad instead. Bouanga has expressed his desire to return to play in his home country of France, and now he has two potential options.

Bouga has only been in MLS for 18 months since joining LAFC. In this brief timespan, he won the MLS Cup and the Golden Boot last season. However, it appears that his time in America may be coming to an end. While Bouga is close to departing, Major League Soccer could potentially gain another star player in the form of Phillipe Coutinho.

After their recent acquisition of Luis Suarez, Inter Miami is expressing interest in signing Phillipe Coutinho. Currently on loan for Al Duhail from Aston Villa, the 31-year-old’s performance in Qatar has been lackluster, leading Aston Villa to consider loaning him to the MLS.

However, there are other potential options for the Brazilian as Turkish Super League clubs have also shown interest, and Aston Villa is open to offers from other clubs. With Inter Miami signing former Barcelona stars such as Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, and Luis Suarez, it is not out of the realm of possibility for Coutinho to join them as well.
