Barcelona in the last decade had the most fearsome attacking trio called the MSN. The trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar Jr wreaked complete havoc in Europe before unfortunately getting disbanded due to various reasons. Fans to date clamor for the trio’s reunion, but that hardly looks possible today. What’s possible, however, is seeing two out of the three play together. We already saw Messi reunite with Neymar at PSG. It now looks like we might see Messi reunited with Luis Suarez at the MLS.
But there is a problem. While it will be exciting to witness Messi and Suarez again together, some fans are of the opinion that Suarez’s reason to join MLS is flawed. This has been a hot topic of discussion on the internet over the last few days.

A couple of days ago, Luis Suarez revealed that he wants to end his Gremio contract a year early despite signing a 2-year contract in December 2022. The reason cited by him was his inability to keep up with the Brazilian league’s frantic pace and his deteriorating fitness condition. Hence, he revealed his request to the club to end his contract a year early which Gremio graciously accepted.
“I feel that next year I will not be able to perform due to my fitness and the high demands of the Brazilian championship, which is why the club and I have spoken about ending my contract (with Gremio) a year early,” he said. “That would be in December. The club agreed and I’m grateful to them,” said El Pistolero.
🚨🚨 🇧🇷 Luís Suarez has announced he will be leaving Brazilian football as it is far “too intense” for his injury problems and that he prefers to take a step down.

After Suarez’s revelation, the news instantly broke of Luis negotiating with Inter Miami. This has irked a lot of soccer fans because it clearly means that for Suarez, MLS’s physicality is a step below the Brazilian League. While one section of fans across Twitter warned the former Barcelona striker about the competitiveness of the MLS, the others were excited about seeing Suarez join Miami. Here are some of the best fan reactions.
I think Inter Miami need to be careful here. I understand the romantic + commercial possibility of Suarez rejoining Messi, Busquets and Alba for next season but in his recent interview he said the physicality of the 🇧🇷 league + travel were a lot on him. Erm. MLS is not a picnic. https://t.co/0m9r3fxr3V

I was put off a bit by Suarez’ comments but now I think it may have been a strategy to force his exit from Gremio.

Physically, the Brazilian league is harder. He'd absolutely boss it in the MLS.

+ he wouldn’t boss it in MLS. I have interviewed many, many stars that come to the league from Europe and beyond and they tell me the same thing: this league is not what they thought.
