When asked about his favorite memory of the season on “Fearless In Devotion – Wrexham AFC Podcast,” he said, “I gotta say for me the most it’s pretty hard to top the feeling you know when Ben Foster saved that goal.” The actor insisted his save against Notts County was the best moment of the season.

He further went on to say that it was quite a coincidence that Foster had already revealed his perfect moment, which was exactly the same as this one, before he even signed for Wrexham. “Last minute of the game, probably the last play of the game, it’s all on the line. You’re playing another top four side, you know this guy’s gonna put it through the back of the net 10 times out of ten, and then he goes but not today,” he continued.

“And he described that he called a shot which is sort of a bit like, if you follow any American Sports Babe Ruth calling a shot in Yankee Stadium” he added. “I mean it’s just one of those moments that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up and that was for me, I don’t know that I’ve ever felt anything that felt as good as the legal drug.”
