As the World Baseball Classic enters its quarterfinal stage, soccer star Alex Morgan and her USWNT teammates are sending their well-wishes to the USA national baseball team. The World Baseball Classic is an international tournament that features some of the best players in the world from countries around the globe.

The tournament is currently in its quarterfinal stage, with Team USA set to face off against Venezuela. Team USA has had a strong showing in the tournament so far, defeating teams like Great Britain, Canada, and Colombia.

With a win against Venezuela, Team USA would advance to the semifinals and be one step closer to retaining their title as World Baseball Classic champions. And to do so they’ve got the support of World Cup-winning Team USWNT behind them.

For USWNT players like Alex Morgan, Rose Lavelle, and Crystal Dunn, the World Baseball Classic is an opportunity to show their support for another national team. All three women sent shoutouts to the baseball team, wishing them luck in the quarterfinal match.

“From one US national team to another, good luck and let’s bring home that trophy!” Morgan said. “Good luck in the World Baseball Classic and bring home another championship,” added Lavelle. Dunn, with her trademark energy, simply exclaimed, “Go USA!”

With the backing of some of the most successful athletes in the country, the USA national baseball team will certainly be looking to make a deep run in the World Baseball Classic.
