After a goalless first half, a 68th-minute goal from new signing Kalidou Koulibaly and a 76th-minute strike from Aleksandar Mitrovic helped Jorge Jesus’ side clinch a perfect 2-0 victory. The win keeps them at the top of the table with 20 points. Additionally, this was Mitrovic’s sixth goal in the Saudi Pro League in just six games. He also has an assist to his name.
On the other hand, ex-Chelsea defender Koulibaly registered his first goal for the home side. Interestingly, his teammate Neymar Jr. also had a chance to open his account for Al Hilal. Unfortunately, the former Barcelona man missed it as he failed to convert from the spot.

All about Neymar’s penalty miss for Al Hilal
During the match, in the 24th minute, Al Hilal was awarded a penalty. However, it was overturned by VAR. Later in the 37th minute, Jorge Jesus’ side was again awarded a kick from the spot. As usual, penalty expert Neymar was given a chance to break the deadlock and also register his first official goal for Al Hilal. Sadly, the playmaker failed to convert it.
Al Shabab’s Kim Seung-gyu was able to outsmart the former PSG man as he dove to the correct side to save the penalty kick. Indeed, had Neymar managed to put it back in the net, he would have gotten his first goal. So far, he has registered just two assists. Certainly, Neymar must bounce back and try rallying for his first goal. Time is ticking, and if he doesn’t score soon, problems may be on the horizon.
