Wrexham AFC is having a great time in the last few months. They won the Vanarama National League title and got automatically promoted to League Two. The announcement of high-profile friendlies on the US tour arrived. Now, the club made two massive announcements in a few days.

Firstly, the Red Dragons announced training kit sponsors. And now Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney made the Racecourse Ground sponsorship announcement in a video. The recent video caught the eyes of the fans. However, the Wrexham superstar hilariously teased the Hollywood duo on social media for the video.

Super Mullin teases Wrexham owners

The Racecourse Ground is home to Wrexham since 1864. It is the oldest international soccer stadium, and the club owns it since June 2022. The Hollywood duo cracked an important deal to sponsor the Racecourse Ground recently. US drinks company SToK Cold Brew Coffee will have naming rights for the stadium from July 1, and the owners made a special announcement video for this.

The video involved the owners and the players acting hilariously. Wrexham striker Paul Mullin also featured in the video with his teammates. The super striker soon took to Instagram, teasing the owners by tagging the video. The striker captioned the Instagram story with“Emmy award incoming,” with laughing emoji.

The club’s executive director Humphrey Ker welcomed SToK as the new stadium sponsor. He revealed that the deal went through after the green light from the Club Advisory Board. The majority of fans backed the deal and are happy with stadium sponsorship. According to Ker, the ambitions of the club and SToK matches. It will be an enormous deal for the club.

The deal comes at a back-of-transfer kit deal.

Wrexham recently announced a new training kit sponsor for the club. Reynolds’ company Aviation Gin sponsored the training kits earlier. Now, Betty Buzz will be the new sponsor. It is a premium beverage company owned by Blake Lively, wife of Ryan Reynolds.

Lively was linked to the club indirectly through her husband. She now makes a direct entry with her company, which Lively launched in 2021. And two years after, it is part of the fairy tale of the world’s third-oldest soccer club. The Welsh club is making strides on and off the field ahead of League Two season. It will be interesting to see what the club does in the transfer window.
