Well, the past few hours have been an exciting ride for Alex Morgan. The former USWNT skipper has been called back to the national team after striker Mia Fishel picked up an ACL injury just hours before the team’s opening clash against the Dominican Republic in the CONCACAF Gold Cup. However, her inclusion into the team has brought its share of drama along with it.
Morgan took to her social media as she put up a “👀” emoticon on her Twitter handle, reacting to her inclusion into the squad. However, she quickly deleted the tweet before following it up with a new post. The USWNT star in her new post stated, “Not how I would wish to come into camp, but ready to get to work! Praying for a speedy recovery🙏 @miafishel10.” However, the quick change did not go unnoticed by fans who did not shy away from slamming the player for her ’embarrassing’ behavior.
