Miguel Layun takes the side of Lionel Messi
After Sergio Aguero and Cesc Fabregas, former Messi teammates, Layun has come to the defense of Messi. Everything started when a dressing room video of the Argentina team emerged. The celebrations right after the win over Mexico in the ongoing World Cup were interpreted by many as Messi, showing disrespect. He was allegedly seen kicking the Mexico team jersey.
Hermano, siempre has defendido a México como pocos, nos has hecho sentir orgullosos a millones.

Layun, in his tweet, while sharing his opinion, praised Alvarez for what he has done in his career. According to Layun, players leave their jerseys on the floor in the dressing room. They are usually taken to the laundry. In his opinion, Messi just touched the Mexican jersey while removing the shoes. There was nothing more than that.
Earlier, Aguero, in his defense of Messi, said Messi accidentally kicked the jersey while removing his shoes. Additionally, in his opinion, Alvarez was overreacting. On the other hand, Fabregas reminded Alvarez that he neither knows about Messi nor what happens in the dressing room after the match.
Now that his fellow countryman has taken the side of Messi, it will be interesting to see how Alvarez responds. Alvarez needs to rethink his words and keep these things in mind before going further in his criticism.
